QPR Reserves Narrowly Beaten Again Tuesday, 7th Oct 2008 22:33 QPR Reserves were beaten 3-2 at home to Southampton, at Loftus Road this afternoon. Rangers reserves suffered their second successive 3-2 defeat, this time at the hands of Southampton at Loftus Road. Another strong R’s line up, were two goals down with 73 minutes on the clock, despite creating numerous chances for themselves. The in form Angelo Balanta reduced the deficit following good work from Gareth Ainsworth on the right, but the Saints extended their lead through Paterson. With five minutes to go, a finely taken goal from Adam Bolder set up a nervous finish for the visitors, but it proved little more than a consolation in the end.
