Martin's first QPR game - Referee

Staffordshire official Stephen Martin is in charge of QPR for the first time this Saturday in Cardiff, where he awarded the hosts two penalties on his last visit.

So far this season Martin has shown 74 yellow cards and four reds in 32 matches (2.31 a game). Seven yellow cards at Plymouth v Porsmouth in League Two is his biggest haul in a single game so far. Eleven of those games have been at Championship level, including seven of the last 11 as he starts to move up through the ranks.

He has refereed Cardiff before — a 3-2 home win against Blackpool in April 20-15 when he awarded the Welsh side two penalties.
