Swindon Town arrive in W12 on Wednesday unrecognisable from the vibrant attacking outfit that won here in this competition in 2013, according to Town fan Dean Filkins.

Can you assess last season for us? How did it go for Swindon? High points and low points?

DF: Last season was a huge disappointment. Having lost in the 2014/15 play-off final against Preston, expectations were high buy the season was a farce from start to finish. We had four different managers — Mark Cooper, Martin Ling, Luke Williams and even chairman Lee Power had a go at taking the team over.

The highpoint was beating Bradford on the opening day. The man who scored a hat-trick for us (Nathan Byrne) was sold to Wolves a few weeks later (typical). Too many low points but two spring to mind: losing to bitter rivals Oxford in the JP Trophy and getting smashed 0-6 away at Scunthorpe.

Overall, a bloody horrible season.

Much summer business done?

DF: Conor Thomas has come in on a free from Coventry but the other incomings have been on loan, Lloyd Jones and Laurence Vigouroux from Liverpool and of course Michael Doughty returning on a season-long deal from QPR.

Plenty of out goings including last season’s top score Nicky Ajose (25 goals in 40 appearances) to Charlton for an undisclosed fee.

Luke Williams is the manager, very highly rated coach but inexperienced as a number one, how did he end up with the job, what have the fans made of him so far, how's he doing?

DF: In regards to Williams, the fans don't mind him but they see him as a puppet for the chairman Lee Power and so that is why there is some dislike. The club is known for having strong links to the community and that seems to have dwindled recently.

How do you see this season going?

DF: Having made just three signings and losing our top goal scorer last season (Nicky Ajose) expectations are low. I'm a glass half-full guy but a lot of fans are expecting a relegation dogfight this season.

The danger man is John Obika but I expect he might even be sold by the time we play you. We are the perfect example of a selling club, unfortunately.

Who should we be looking out for in the current Swindon team?

DF: In terms of players, our standout performer is Iraqi international Yaser Kasim. Far too good for us if I'm being honest, but also has a big ego and poor work ethic which is partly why he is still playing in league one.
