Talking about slumps Newport County seem to be in a big one at the moment (they are currently 2-1 down to Dag & Red at home). No doubt partly because of the fixture pile up they've had due to their pitch and all the bad weather down there
On 1st January we had 40 points from 24 games and Newport had 37 points from 22 games (and it looked like they would overtake us)
Since then we have taken 27 points from 13 games and (if they lose tonight) Newport will have taken just 8 points from 14 games and that's what you call "relegation form" | | | |
