Keith Hill's weakness? 17:46 - Apr 12 with 8003 views | wimborne_dale | Anyone else getting deja vu?. Same old! It's now mid April and we've stopped scoring goals, well who would have thought it, after looking so good through the winter months? . Now I'm normally very supportive of Keith but why is it that whenever a prize is in sight we implode? 0-3!!!!!!! I'm not just talking about 2010 either though there is an obvious parallel today with Torquay "Top of the League. You're 'avin' a laff" and "Easy Easy". The previous season we were in a good position to secure automatic p when the bubble burst and we ended up in the playoffs with no momentum. Been listening to it on Dale Player. Not much spark, not much sign of a goal coming our way. Some one posted earlier here about "illogical substitutions". Perhaps someone who goes to more games that I could enlighten us. Keith Hill's weakness? on 17:50 - Apr 12 with 4404 views | nordenblue | Said on previous post that Hilly seems to love this keeping it at 0.0 and wearing teams down tactic especially away from home, too negative for my liking as most teams weve shown when we put then under pressure are there for the taking, and Cummins offers nothing at all either
Keith Hill's weakness? on 17:56 - Apr 12 with 4335 views | macro | Second in the league, best home record, could go up at Bristol rvs. Bet Torquay wish they had our problems
Keith Hill's weakness? on 18:18 - Apr 12 with 4192 views | alma500 | They do this every time they are high up in the league they get complacent, lazy and totally loose interest, the players do not deserve the loyal support that the fans give them, in my opinion the players should forfeit part of their wages and give the supporters who turned out discounted tickets for the next match. The manager should also give them all a short sharp shock, they don't deserve to be called professional football players. There is no excuse for trying to blame the weather, professional football players should be able to play in any weather conditions,( thought that's what they trained hard for ???) they did going back to the 60's and 70's, Todays result is no more than disgusting , come on Mr manager buck your players up or get out.

Keith Hill's weakness? on 19:29 - Apr 12 with 3955 views | boromat | Our weakness today was going too positive in the end and losing some addition vital goals. Cav had a particular bad game but we conceded to easily when he went off. Pitch was awful ref was awful we was frustrated. Bad day at the office but Keith Hill teams always have the odd game like this. Let's see if we can recover on Friday. Be interesting to see who starts!

I would start with the same team. Does anybody else think we have become less of a threat since Rose dropped to the bench? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Am I the only one who thinks that Jamie Allen badly needs a rest? I'd be playing either Donnelly or Bunney alongside Hogan up front with Hendo, Lund, Cav and Vincenti in midfield. [Post edited 12 Apr 2014 19:43]

I said after the game that I would start with George in for Allen on Friday and play Hogan in the hole.

Jason Kennedy looked like he needs the next four games to get fully match fit, if I can put things kindly. There was one passage of play today where Kennedy lost the ball badly, they broke down the left and put in a cross which Cav did well to clear. The response from the old boy sat next to me? "Cav has ****ed up again. Kick up the bum we need or bit of bottle being shown? Only time will tell. Onwards and upwards, bring on the Saffers.

Keith Hill's weakness? on 20:02 - Apr 12 with 3779 views | dalefan | As Keith says in his interview it's not a crisis unless we make it one. Calm down everyone Put it in perspective, second in the league 6 points ahead of 4th with 4 games to go. What crisis. It's at times like these the players really need our support. So come on everyone positivity please.
Keith Hill's weakness? on 20:03 - Apr 12 with 3772 views | davidab2202 | Hopefully just the hiccup today that most teams get in odd games.Having said that was not too keen on the comments attributed to Keith after the Fleetwood game which suggested that he felt the job was done and promotion a done deal.It could have just been a lazy journalist giving his own thoughts rather then one from the horse's mouth but still didn't make good reading

Where was that? Hill's been very careful with his words about the possibility of promotion.

Keith Hill's weakness? on 20:22 - Apr 12 with 3681 views | rich_dale | There's no weakness - we're fine. Five clean sheets before today. Just one medicore performance. 2 losses in 14 games. No need to panic

The interview's I've listened to by Hilly have said the exact opposite . In one he mentioned Rotherham winning their last six matches and coming from nowhere to win promotion (whether this is true I wouldn't know) as an example of why he took absolutely nothing for granted

Agree, we were due a poor performance. On entering the stadium today the first thing i noticed was the poor condition of the pitch. We have had good weather all week and i couldnt believe how unprepared the pitch appeared. Its not sour grapes because Mansfield deserved the win but the pitch looked full of divots and didnt look as though it had been cut.
Keith Hill's weakness? on 21:38 - Apr 12 with 3400 views | isitme | I couldn't understand why it wasn't being watered to help the flow of the ball. Oh yes I remember they didn't want to play football. Two home wins on a good pitch will hopefully be enough.

Would so love you to be right. Would so love this to be a 1 off defeat, its just that I can't help seeing a pattern developing, Also my OP was partly intended to be another "struggling Rochdale" type message.
