You did, but then it's a logical move for Thomson. A full-time contract at a club based just a few miles away from where his home town (Denny).

They seem to dick about with this every season. The Challenge Cup has always tended to be a pre-cursor to the league season, but now the League Cup seems to be too. They've let non-league sides into the Challenge Cup this season too. Anything to break the monotony of facing the same side anything up to five or six times a season! | |
