Good ideas on the 'raising attendances' subject for the Walsall game. Analysis of the take-up could prove interesting and hopefully that information will follow as a result of the club working with supporters.

Any further ideas that people want bringing up at the consultation evening tomorrow?

I don't understand why it has to be a designated game.

How many were used v Northampton last season? I bet there were a lot of fans who still had the voucher when we were playing the likes of Burton and Portsmouth later in the season, yet they couldn't use them.

Undoubted knowledge? Or just the application of common sense and using my brain?

Yes it's a great idea....but the designation reduces it's impact.

Just leave it open?

Any analysis carried out on the offer last season should assist the decision making process. As TVOS asked, how many were used against Northampton? Also, how many were bringing in new/floating fans? If there was supporting evidence that the offer is working to some extent by attracting some who might not usually attend, then it would indicate the best idea would be that ALL vouchers are used - thus allowing their use at other games.

As the vouchers are included in season tickets, the intention has to be that they're all used to the benefit of supporters and the club.

On a similar theme, including some details on attendances, this story appeared on the "On This Day" feature at the side of the board.

Good bit of digging there 442.........it would be interesting to hear current figures to the ones quoted in your article from 2008.

Of particular interest is the position with Hornets.....are they up to date on Stadium payments? or still subsidised by the AFC?

Not a popular subject to ignite but needs an airing.

Little digging, those "on this day" stories that appear on here are often an interesting read.

I was told that the Rugby League pay just under £5000 per month to the stadium company, and are up to date. I queried this , and was told Colin Garlick had confirmed it.

I was interested in question 9 -

Q9: Can whoever’s in control of the sound systems at Spotland turn the volume down please?

A9: “Yes, it’s more complicated than that due to the ageing sound system at Spotland, but we’ll try and resolve that problem for you,” answered Dave Sweetmore.

Well, the system is 6 years older, so is that why it seems even louder now?

Could the Trust help with the cost perhaps? Or maybe it just needs a bigger seat, so that Dave is further away from the mike.

It was a very constructive evening, and would encourage anyone interested to attend the next one. Some very positive action points to take forward - all of them realistic and achievable.

The commitments in place and the work going forward will hopefully illustrate that these consultation events have a real part to play in the club going forward, and its good to hear they're keen on the ideas raised. The information and subsequent analysis from the junior clubs ticketing initiative at the Walsall game is something the club can use each time when planning future promotions. It's something that could work with the good idea to bring in a family section in the Pearl St again.

Fixture board is still showing Peterborough.

3 hours prior to kick off it should be changed.

Ie midday yesterday updated to PNE on Tuesday.

People turning up for Posh yesterday might have just been reminded we have a cup match midweek.

5pm Tuesday it should read August 23rd Bristol City.

Its the simple things!!!
