Did well at Norwich so prepared to overlook that short spell at your gaff while players arrived every other week.
Defensive midfield? Not with us he didn't. Yes, he played deep, rarely moved over halfway except for taking a shed load of poor set pieces, but he hasn't got a header or tackle in him, so he's not defensive. He's one of those deep lying playmakers I suppose, and as I've said on our forum, he's thrived at this level before. But that was a while ago now and he's not played much lately. One of the myriad midfielders that Flicker signed, was quickly sent back once Danny came back. All of Mellis, Etuhu, Perkins and Dawson were better players for us. But, again as I said on our forum, I thought Chris Wood, Jon Walters and Jay Rodriguez were shit when we had em on loan. Owt can happen. New club, new surroundings, and a manager who loves midfielders who keep the ball well.
That would be the one attribute I saw from Fox last season, he doesn't lose possession. At all really. But that's because he does very little with it. Might be the steadying influence needed in midfield for you. I hope so, he actually seems a nice lad and Jacob got along with him well when both were rotting in Norwich's reserve side.

My first thought is living down in Yeovil away from home can be difficult. Better to live at home in Liverpool (assuming) and get a minibus with the rest of the lads to the Dale...oh, sorry, Coleman days are over now!!
I do think Fox would be a fabulous signing but I'm a bit unsure on Morgan. I think he was on trial at Chesterfield recently and he's not a proven goalscorer. Yes it's difficult for us to sign those types of players I understand but I was hoping for somebody with more experience than him and somebody with a better record than Andrew.
He's clearly talented but maybe it's an attitude problem with him? Time will tell, if he does sign for us then good luck and prove me wrong!

Ohh that's more positive but there's a Chesterfield fan on another forum who hated him, having said that he is a bit of a bell.
