Very interesting comments about signing a striker by Hilly on Dale Player.
He says he has a list of targets but clubs are still reluctant to let them go out on loan at the moment. Hill also mentions about finances and that splashing out on a player and paying them excessive wages could cause the club damage financially in the long run and cited examples such as Hereford and Stockport.
It's cheaper than Centenary Year these Prices what the difference between 2007 and 2014?
Just think it's like people want us to have an conference reputation across England, The fact Oldham take an Coach everywhere says lot about people's attitudes just 10 Minutes Away
Im pretty sure we take an manager, an coach, an physiotherapist and several other people when ever we go away. Oh an several directors an Kitman, an goalkeeping coach an Tony Ellis, an fitness specialist an probably lots of others also. An your point is?
My wife is an Anne but she doesn't watch football. An there was also an panda called anan who couldn't be bothered with ChiChi at an zoo in London but that was years ago - back in the annals of time.
Would you mind taking some photo's of your journey and an random pint on route if you could, maybe a couple of crowd shots too just so we can verify exactly how many are in attendance, dont forget we've got bratfurt visiting soon so brush up on your counting skills.

I'll ask R17ALE, he's the technical one.
Undoubted knowledge? Or just the application of common sense and using my brain?
I remember back in the day when I were a young lad, knee high to a grass hopper and this thread was about striker, then Tazzy comes back, Hilly plays with no forwards and left backs score hat tricks and all the rules are thrown out the windows, madness i tell thee!
(I sort lost point I was trying to make with this post, but I'm posting it anyway)

Don't forget Taz's mate, Kofi Annan.
If he'd played his cards right, Taz could've been our special envoy to the Islamic Caliphate by now. That'd teach 'em.
Annan is in Scotland so thats an good starting point they have an team too called Annan Town - Surley one for an Tazzy trip - we could run an coach there?

Annan Athletic are an better side. Kenny Arthur was there last season.

Went to Annan on Saturday whilst attending a wedding at Gretna. Came across the ground whilst having a bit of a stroll with the family shaking off a thick head. Nice little ground half a mile out of the centre up a hill a little bit exposed astra turf pitch with 2 stands but all in good nick looks like it has had a bit of money invested in it they were playing Queens Park and lost 1-0.Nice little town Annan with excellent sports facilities for a small town and an excellent chippy. Now my adopted Scottish team even though when I looked at the league table in the papers on Sunday they were bottom of the League. Attendance 401

Nice little ground Galabank and assuming you're talking about Annan Athletic and not Town, which I guess you are from the opposition you mentioned, a nice little club too.
Jim Chapman is a decent manager at that level but it was surprising they didn't get promoted after spending the majority of last season in second place.
Our former keeper Mr Arthur retired at the end of last season and I read somewhere that he kept clean sheets in almost a third of the league matches he played in.
They've signed some decent players for this season, like Derek Carcary and Ryan McStay, who are only down at that level because they have poor injury records.
Annan have kept Kenny Mackay, too, who was thought would move to a full-time club in the summer. He looks a prospect.
At the very least, the consensus is that Annan seem capable enough of finishing in the top four again. Maybe just a blip for now?

I think we should adopt Annan Athletic as "our" team in Scotland, in support of Tazzy.
Why doesn`t Hilly go down the road to Old Trafford? I thought I read that United were paying Nani`s wages while he`s back at Sporting Lisbon on loan. If it`s good enough for him......?

Just because they're at united doesnt necessarily mean they are good enough.. i'd rather Hill just goes for who he actually wants..
Will Hoskins has signed for Oxford. Would have liked him here.
One hell of a gamble signing a player who hasn't kicked a ball in anger in 18 months. He's been doing the rounds on trials, and I think he was with Barnsley for a bit. Wonderful footballer when fit but unfortunately for him he's a long way from being fit.
