O'Grady was well on his way out at oldham, he had failed everywhere he had been previous to us. Bury, rotherham and bradford all speak scathingly of his time there and im sure oldham couldnt believe their luck when O'Grady came here and had some success, meaning they got some money for a player they were expecting to let go in the summer. If oldham wanted O'Grady they would have taken him back when his loan spell ended.. | |

Well said.. im not saying we should sign this willie gros because i dont know anything about him, but you cant rule him out just because hes not good enough for oldham, we have had more than a few players who havr been deemed not good enough by other clubs, it all depends what type of player fits at a certain type of club.
There'd be a lot less players if clubs didnt take punts on players who have failed at other clubs.. | |
