I said in a previous thread on this subject that many towns with a similar demographic to Rochdale would be coming out of the woodwork in due course. Rotherham is just the latest, but there will be others.

The thing is, nothing I've posted is in the least racist (because I'm not). This latest "revelation" simply backs up what I and many others have long suspected - that criminals aren't being brought to justice for fear of offending community relations.
The same principle applies to the Birmingham schools "trojan horse" issue, although that's not a criminal matter.

It is not a race issue, it is cultural issue. A poster on the Spectator website linked to an article which stated that over 80% of the perpetrators are from the same area in the Punjab.
The 'elders' within these communities, who hold a significant amount of power (such as the postal voting scandals in Oldham and other areas) need to be more proactive and attempt to tackle this issue. |  | | |
