Very critical of Michael Oliver reffing his lot.....Moses dives in penalty area after a touch by Angel........have to agree on seeing it.

We know what he means?????

Hartsons right though he'll be charged for telling the truth about a blatant dive

You couldn't tell that Hartson's a Swansea fan....

Shocking decision but Hartson got so angry he was tripping over his words.

Poll: Greatest Ever Dale Game

And yet Hughes thinks it's a foul and that his player didn't dive.

It's clearly a poor and incorrect decision by the referee, but until players and managers are more honest and stop cheating/condone cheating (especially when we can clearly see on TV that Moses DID dive), it might be easier for the officials to spot what is and what isn't a foul when they only have one view and a split second to make the decision.

You can bet your bottom dollar that if it had been Bony who dived, Hughes would have a completely different opinion.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

I've not seen the dive but have seen his interview. He comes across as a bitter and bad loser - as most managers who always complain about the referees do - which is a shame because he's doing a good job.

People need to stop moaning at the referee for dives because ultimately it's the player who is cheating. He's cheating everyone. It's the player who ruins the game with their cheating and it's the player who should be punished. The referee is just another victim.

Another part of the problem is that pundits etc subscribe to the idiotic view that 'if you feel any sort of contact you are entitled to go down.' Complete nonsense in a contact sport. In other words if Moses had in fact brushed against the Swansea player's arm he would have been entitled to threw himself to the ground.. No wonder refs make mistakes as it is almost impossible with all these antics to assess what is really going on.

Not that it will happen, but I wonder what would happen if the FA or someone else did the equivalent of cricket's dubious bowling actions video analysis to show that certain ways of 'falling' to the ground could only be the result of deliberate deceit rather than genuinely being impeded or fouled.
