Banbury v Slough 17:43 - Oct 25 with 1613 viewsSuddenLad

Match abandoned at half time as a Banbury supporter ran into the tunnel and assaulted the referee with a bottle.

Referee badly injured and unable to continue.

Some bloody crackpots in this world.

Guardian and Twitter were reporting that referee was too injured to carry on. Somewhere in between lies the truth. Either way, we can do without it.

hmmm, seems to be a different viewpoint whichever article you read on it, if it turns out that the original accusation is true, personally I'd have the club thrown out, probably wouldn't happen but that is disgraceful behaviour.

Life is a game of fate.
