It's a bit quiet on here today, so I thought a couple of old Preston games would bring back memories for some and maybe show some younger fans action they haven't seen before:
FEB 1994 (including a dodgy bloke trying to sort out a kit clash with the ballboys - probably)

Undoubted knowledge? Or just the application of common sense and using my brain?

We're all trying desperately not to be messageboard managers. There's only knitted jumpers left to discuss.
Those jumpers are decent though - ignoring my admitted major issues with colours; messageboard managers would only be good if they had their own coaching courses.
Imagine the debates if this board existed when Sutton was in charge. Complete armageddon.

Now that's something to consider - coaching courses for messageboard managers.
I'd start one myself... but it'd soon unravel. So would a jumper I'd knitted.
Surely the Preston game must be the miraculous 4-2 win at Deepdale in the late 1980s which helped keep us in the League. Robbie Wakenshaw scored. The original game was snowed off at 2.45pm much to my annoyance but I got over it when I heard the result of the rearranged game! I think we lost to them at home not long before that as well.
A video of the 4-2 game would be great.

I've got it (TalkingSutty let me borrow his copy), but it needs putting onto DVD to transfer the goals to YouTube.
Might take a while, but I'll see what I can do.
