FA Cup run finances 19:04 - Dec 17 with 1483 viewsSuddenLad

According to the 'fishul site, the cup run so far has swelled the club coffers by £57,500 NOT including gate receipts.

A decent attendance for the Forest match will swell that figure some more.

It's on here: http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/rochdale/news/37193/

It's work like that which would give the author a real chance of doing the numbers game on Countdown... as long as there's a commitment to maintain the site's high standards while they're absent of course.

Can we get 8000 + in v Forest?

Obviously a split gate but that should be worth £50 000 to the club gate receipts alone.

PH will be rubbing his hands together as will the rest of the board.

Huge financial win last Tuesday as well as on the pitch!!

So factoring everything in we are already guaranteed well in excess of 100k from the cup run. There will probably be more television money involved in relation to highlights etc from our game with Forest and we are more than capable of earning a replay or maybe even causing another cup upset.

It's all good news and could be very timely should we receive positive news in relation to the stadium issue.

I think the first one is a given, the second a very good maybe ( if a loan) and third not overly confident on it happening due to Blackburn's current situation. If the board put a bid in for JoC it would test the waters to see where Blackburn see him at their club, it wouldn't harm to try.
