The issue was 3 lads had an advanced train ticket for a later train. But that had been canceled due to a landslide at Leminton Spa.
They then decided to get the next available train out of Coventry but the draconian ticket conductor wanted to throw them out at Stoke. Therefore an arguement ensued where even other passengers on the train was defending them.
She then decided to waste police time by throwing us all off and putting us on the next train [Post edited 1 Feb 2015 10:36]

The group of lads were having a decent conversation with a bury fan on that train.. A laugh and a bit of banter. Stop trying to blow this situation out of proportion, they were told to get off the train because 3 of the lads had PAID for tickets on a later train (which was cancelled) so they had no choice but to get on this one.. However the ticket collector didn't seem to care that the lads could be stranded in Stafford and caused them to get frustrated at the chance of being stuck overnight.

I was on train with said lads going down, All was peaceful , We got the 7.27 back and all was peaceful on our train, I don't know which train this incident occurred, 2 of our lot had tickets for the 8.27 but came with us, the guard just let them off, I guess it was because they was elderly guys and not young guns [Post edited 1 Feb 2015 11:13]
