Are you having a laugh! ? How many did they used to sell?
Bradford season tickets on 01:47 - Jun 24 with 4045 views | WhiteyBFC | I expect them to hit 15,000 again, which at £150 a pop doesn't sway much from our expected 7,500 at £300 a pop. But I'm in their camp. Much rather see 15,000 season ticket holders inside Oakwell at a cheaper rate. Does it win you games? Not really. Do you make more money? Probably not, everything is contracted out at Oakwell and Valley Parade. But it's twice as many folk supporting the club, week in, week out. Whatever the weather. Whatever the result. They're proving that the fans are out there. I know full well that we'd get similar numbers with such a scheme. But we've chosen for some time now, to fleece the diehard support (cos that's what we're down to now) for all they have, rather than encourage new and lapsed supporters to the game. We'll do well to get 15,000 home fans in next season for any game. Think we mustered 13,000 against dem blades last season. The price of football is extortionate in this country. Well played Bradford City. Great gesture, again. Great club. Shame they'll finish mid table... [Post edited 24 Jun 2015 1:48]

The prices you quote dont make sense and wouldnt be appealing to floating fans though - we'd sell just what we shifted this coming season I imagine (around 1000). Bradford have been doing their £199 season ticket for year's now and have built up a gradual fanbase with Promotion, League Cup Final, Wembley success and cup runs help massively. This seasons amazing £150 offer (nearly £200!!! less than our cheapest early bird seat) is able to be chanced with their FA Cup heroics v Chelsea and 2 sell outs at home v Sunderland and Reading where demand for tickets was unprecedented. They had 20,000 HOME fans for both of those games! Every one of them would be on a database with online ticketing and they'll all be targeted as potential customers.

Oops! Quite so, but at £149 any sales team that couldn't shift at least 2.000 (even Dale) tickets, should be sacked on the spot. But we'll never know, because things will never change. [Post edited 24 Jun 2015 15:38]

On the penalty spot? Which end? I suspect we might sell around 1500 at that price.

At 150 we'd have to sell 3000.
