Today marks 30 years since my first dale match - a bank holiday 4-1 victory over Stockport.
Does anyone remember this match? Any memories to share ?

Aye, it was a Monday evening match. I think most of the other games were in the afternoon.
Dale played in White/Navy/White (and then wore Navy socks from the next game) and Stockport played in Green/Green/Yellow.
I've got the report from the game in my archives.
"Top, top, top, top, top of the league" was sung from the Sandy as we went 3-0 up before half-time.

I cant remember my actual 1st game, But would of been with my dad at about 7 year old (mid 70s), I know though my 1st season ticket was the year Scarborough came into the league and have had one every year since. |  |
