mid may in Leeds . . . . I think Ill wait to see what the weather is like - they wont sell out against the Lankans.

They try to fit in too many internationals now . . . silly to start test series before June.

Should be a good Test Match, will be having a couple of days of that. For those who don't know the set up the East Stand is the bees knees. A plush lounge at the top of the stand serving Black Sheep Ale and home made grub. Your ticket gets you access to this members lounge and it's a cracking set up.

Your ticket will probably cost you a extra tenner but there's no mad queues for ale, food isn't the normal burger and chips rubbish and should the weather turn nasty it's a nice place to relax for a few hours. If you are taking a lady with you it's a ideal part of the ground.

Registered interest for this. Not been in that stand before though, have sat in the Trueman Enclosure for Lancs matches. Will give the East Stand a go this time.

You will enjoy it, decent views and very good facilities.

Can vouch for this.

Ended up in this stand by chance v Pakistan about 7 or 8 years ago. Final day of the series, queues all round the ground and scraped into this stand before they shut the gates. Great vantage point and the bar facilities exactly as TS describes.

Poll: What are you planning to do v Newport

I've only ever driven but is there a train station close by? Can't recall seeing one but I wasn't specifically looking

Headingley or Burley Park stations are handy for the ground, each are a 5-10 minute walk and about the same time journey time out from Leeds station. We were in the East stand for the NZ test this summer and it is a good vantage point

It's only six pounds in a taxi from Leeds Train Station up to the ground ,so if you share the taxi it's the easiest option.
