John O'Sullivan , 22 yr old attacking midfielder being sent out on loan apparently after just signing a new contract at Blackburn. He's been loaned out previously at Chester, Accrington and Barnsley.
Apparently he's got the choice of two clubs - Rochdale or Barnsley.
He played against us pre season and caused us plenty of problems - think he hit the woodwork a couple of times. Hopefully Hillys Blackburn connections can swing it our way - would love him here. Think he's No.20

Very very good footballer. And a terrific attitude and workrate.
Not surprised you liked him! Terrific record in the 8 games he was there.

Yep. It went tits up when he left.
With Hammill here now, he'd have been brilliant on the other flank and Adam would have been a great teacher. He's a terrific little player JOS, winger or number 10, and has exceptional endeavour/graft. Perfect Keith player, maybe offer you what Done did. But he's not Adam Hammill. Not yet anyway. But he's a lot better than this Lloyd Isgrove we've got.
You'll love him, if he's as good as he was for us. Hendo will thrive off him.
Quality player mate, he has all the attributes to be a premier league player in the future. Also he has alot of heart, something you don't always get from a loan player.

As if by chance, we play 3 of the 6 teams he played with Barnsley and won.
Crewe Scunthorpe Walsall

I think it's all about him getting it right. I know in the past, we have complained that some players are reluctant to get stuck in, but for me, he got stuck in a bit too much today, which led to his warning and subsequent substitution. If he can tone that down a bit, I think we have a good player. Seemed pacey and a good turn of foot.
A less tolerant ref could have given him a red within 20 minutes. We can perhaps blame the underfoot conditions or him not being up to speed but those three challenges. Phew. Thank goodness Hilly and Beech noted this and subbed the lad before the on-coming red.

I think wanting to make an impression and the conditions have to be taken into account but when you look at Hooper and McDermotts performances you have to ask why have we brought him in. I'm sure he'll improve but to me he didn't look Rochdale fit.
Saw enough in his performance to suggest he will make a major impact, gutted when he had to be substituted. Every time he received the ball he looked to make an impact.
Sometimes a player just jumps out and although today ended badly for him we've got a good one.
Do you think Port Vale tried to influence the referee to send him off? They did seem to make a big deal out of his challenges when compared with challenges from other players. To me, it was as if getting him booked was part of their remit.
