Special mention for the pitch 12:40 - Nov 29 with 1050 views

Worth a mention the pitch coped really well yesterday with what was a lot of rain all week.

The main stand / sandy lane quadrant was worse effected but in the whole I was amazed how well the pitch coped with the prolonged deluge.

Well done the club on the continued investment and well done the groundstaff.

Other years would have been either a quagmire or a certain postponement.

Agreed, the investment has in the pitch has paid off. even at the end of the match it looked in really good condition.

Calendar looks great this year too and the 6 3 1 competition has been run excellently by the club.

A couple of friends came over from Accy today.......said how great the pitch looked and how well it faired under very demanding conditions

The areas around the touchlines were totally waterlogged and that's probably what the rest of the pitch would've looked like in the past sans decent drainage.

Does anyone know if it collects in the Sandy/Main Stand area because it drains in that direction?
