Also whilst your at it, if Bury can't beat Hull reserves, yet beat Rochdale away, what does it say about the quality of Rochdale?

I'd look at the league table for the answer to that, if we're going titty for tatty.

We're having a fine season with top results, hence why you fully expect Barnsley to turn us over? A fine contradiction.

Our players tend to raise their games against inform teams. Wins away at Wigan, Sheffield United and Walsall prove this.

Anyway unless Flitcroft stops playing centre mids on the wings and at right back we will struggle to beat anyone

Your second and third paragaphs contradict each other. Make up your mind.

Let's have a look at this Stoke reserves team.

Jack Butland: (England international, first choice keeper since Begovic went to Chelsea) - RESERVE last season
Phil Bardsley: 24 PL appearances last season - NOT RESERVE
Ryan Shawcross: 32 PL appearances last season - NOT RESERVE
Phillip Wollscheid: 12 PL appearances last season (signed in Jan) - NOT RESERVE
Marc Wilson: 27 PL appearances last season - NOT RESERVE
Phillip Nzonzi: 38 PL appearances last season - EVER PRESENT
Glenn Whelan: 28 PL appearances last season - NOT RESERVE
Marco Arnautovic: 29 PL appearances last season - NOT RESERVE
Bojan Krkic: 16 PL appearances last season (injured during the cup tie and missed the rest of the season, used to play for Barcelona) - NOT RESERVE
Victor Moses: 19 PL appearances last season - RESERVE
Jonathan Walters: 32 PL appearances last season - NOT RESERVE

Subs
Steve Sidwell: 12 PL appearances last season - THAT'S WHY HE WAS SUB
Stephen Ireland: 17 PL appearances last season - THAT'S WHY HE WAS SUB
Charlie Adam: 29 PL appearances last season - NOT RESERVE

"But hey, I'm not bothered"

That's funny, you were bothered enough on Friday with your 10,000 crowd prediction (an unhealthy OBSESSION) and your dreams of getting to round five and a massive pay day.

Looks like you missed out on throwing coins at Arsenal fans, Stef. Never mind.

Well, you still lost 4-1.

Oh yes of course, we are level on points and have identical win/draw/loss records..

Yep and then Stoke lost 4-1 at Blackburn in the next round. Funny old game.

However, if we want to get all Buryyyy over this, we had the fee from the live TV broadcast AND a crowd of 7,443, which was, erm, bigger than yours yesterday.

Not that it matters, but it's your OBSESSION.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Too bad you don't get bigger crowds than us every other week then isn't it really. If it makes you happy that you had a bigger attendance than us once last year against PL opposition then good for you!

The league table is irrelevant until game number 46 has been played, we are currently on game number 27, plenty of twists and turns to come.

Rochdale fans really getting giddy over being on equal points with Bury, bless em.

Its a shame really as I'm sure the league award extra points for a win the more people in the ground too,our loss..

Any chance you could give us your predictions for next weekends games as you're ever so accurate and your eye for detail with facts is staggering

But we as fans aren't really bothered if our crowds are bigger or smaller than yours. It's something you and you alone is completely OBSESSED with. I'd love to know why because it just makes you seem like a bit of a weirdo.

Of course we'd like bigger attendances, but it isn't going to happen so we as fans can't lose any sleep over it.

Now if we had to keep borrowing money left, right and centre to pay two players around £40,000 per month wages, which an average 4135 fans won't cover (that's a MASSIVE 900 more than our average) we would really struggle to sleep, wouldn't we?

Very bitter, anyway I'm glad Leon is staying. 17 goals in 23 games Rochdale fans can only dream of having players of that quality.

You're right, it is irrelevant until May. And there's no giddiness here, just tit for tat, like you said...

And remind me, what was the theme you started this thread with before embarrassingly editing it yesterday because you are a mong?

I started this thread as a sarcastic response to many Dale posters using the #abovebury a few weeks ago. So you(r fans) started this.

Also you do know the word 'mong' is really quite offensive and I doubt you would use that language in the street. Stay classy Rochdale fans.

Come on now Stef...

16 goals in 28 games including cups. And only four goals in the last two months.

You've given him an extra goal and missed out five appearances.

Oh, and coins, something you would know a lot about, eh Stef?
