As good as O'Connell is, what purpose would it serve? He's exactly the same type of left-sided defender that McNulty is. I don't think it's a suitable partnership, much like the Eastham/Lancashire partnership didn't work. So would you drop Jim? If so you still have the Lancashire problem? Plus, he's not going to drop Jim now is he? |  |
