Plymouth:
Puma kits are a template but Argyle have a really good bespoke version within those constraints. Use of all three of their traditional colours is very effective. The contrast between the white pinstripes and the black collar and sleeve stripes is a thing of wonder.

Barnet:
The design is good, the choices made terrible. The third kit should be the home one, I don't care that Barnet have worn black at home before - its not big and it's not clever. The anniversary kit follows the theme really well, same colours and everything... so why that other white away kit with purple?! Do football clubs understand? DO THEY?

Millwall's reminds me of that Newcastle one, except horizontal. Sickly.
Sunderland have just shifted the emphasis from white to red. Yawn.
Ireland away: Umbro have turned out some right rubbish recently. Those sleeves?
Feyenoord's is classy. I like those chest bands on Adidas kits.
We saw the best of Puma with that Plymouth kit. Chesterfield get the worst. Compare their template to what we have for our home shirt, so bland and even worse on the away version. Puma is the one manufacturer I hope we never go with, even their bespoke versions aren't up to much - we're looking at you Arsenal. Plymouth's colours alone save their whole football brand.
Bristol City have their own kit brand and they try, they really do. Except they never get it quite right. What's going on with that trim? No consistency between shirt and shorts and the dreaded blocks of colour on the socks. I bloody hate that. Notice how Swindon's had gone pink yesterday.
Errea have done Grimsby proud over the years but I'm not sure about that one. Though I actually think it'd work much better in blue and black...

As someone said on the radio the other day, releasing 4 kits would be taking the piss if you had to buy all 4....you don't you only have to buy 1 and Barnet have given you more choice, so you're more likely to get a kit you like. |  | | |
