5 years to the day - RIP Beardyman 13:10 - May 27 with 1353 viewsaleanddale

Time flies.

5 years to the day on the passing of a giggler who is still fondly remembered.

Beardyman RIP.

Reading his board I only just put 2 and 2 together and Barry Strange is his son.

Good poster who could give and take humour as it was intended.

Your old fella was a good un Barry.

Top, top bloke was Beardy, for a goat shagger.

RIP Adrian.

Thanks gents.

Just as was the case on our board, he loved the knockabout on here, and particularly enjoyed the derbies and the certainty he'd find himself begging Mum for a lift home at some ridiculous time once he needed pouring into the car.

We were really touched as a family with the massive number of fond remembrances of him on here, the Rochdale coloured flowers you lot sent him the week he died, and that several of you took the time to come to the funeral.

You're a good lot on here, despite your obsession with Gigg being turned into a housing estate, and it's nice to hear that the daft owd goat is still remembered.

Loved meeting your dad a few times, while the odd belm from either side scrapped on the street we would chuckle inside while having a post match pint win/lose/draw.

Sadly both he and my post match pints are gone but the memories are still there.

R.i.p.
