Me and Roccy were discussing this the other day.

It will be his last chance to get a playing contract for a half-decent wage. Hibs won't be paying anything like the £24k per week he was on at Wigan mind you, but they'll pay more than he was on with us.

Is the gulf so big now that we play at a higher level than Hibs or has Lennon signed him without actually scouting him? Leaving sentiment to one side, I'd have been astonished if we'd have given him another deal, and not down to being unable to match his wages.

Celtic and Rangers aside, we play at SPL level. Most League Two clubs would romp the Scottish Championship.

Hibs still have a decent support though, and, as I say, will pay more money than a few clubs at our level.

I'd imagine the opportunity to get himself a deal in a future EU country was a major factor in his decision to go there.

Poll: If possible tomorrow, which model do you choose for Dale?

Unless Holty manages to get himself fit, I dont expect him to be up there for long.

He played against Brondby in the Europa League last night. By all accounts he looked solid and even did his usual tumble in the penalty box. The ref didn't buy it, though. Hibs lost 1-0.

Sounds like it took them all of 17 seconds to regret releasing Conrad

Yeah, Lennon got shot of both keepers. Strange move.
