Anyone got any idea as to why Logan has been starting recently? Just to keep him fit perhaps?

Not saying there's a problem with it, just thought it was odd with Lillis playing well

Why? 'cause he's the best keeper.

Life is a game of fate.

Logan just shades it.

He is a great keeper.

If it was that simple, and that was the case, why wasn't he playing previously?

Hilly was indirectly critical of Lillis in interview after the Bradford away game and Logan has been in ever since.

Simple as that.

As far as I'm aware it's January. Didn't go to the Bradford game so can't comment on Lillis' performance for that particular game but I was impressed every time I'd seen him this season prior to that. Maybe Logan's agent was hinting Conrad would be off without more game time? I think it's fairly obvious that Hilly ultimately rates Logan over Lillis so I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign a new deal.

As an aside- Logan must have absolutely locked down his place in Rochdale's all time Fat XI. He is absolutely huge, imagine how good he would be if he lost a bit (lot) of timber. Who else have we got to go in the Fat XI?

Hopeful we can extend that to May.

This cup run will help with the purse strings no doubt.

Logan
Minihan
Alan Johnson
Guy Branston
Raphael Evans
Flitcroft
Redfearn
S Warner
T Ford
M Leonard
Bergkamp

That was very difficult and a few of them seem unfair but I can't thinknif anyone else especially the full back positions. Maybe fans of a different vintage to me have some better choices.

Struggling with a Fatsod XI...........Doolan was a big unit when he left a few years back. So was Evil.

But most of our lot are fed on scraps anyway?

From recent years Puterill would walk (waddle?) into the team.

Charlie Wyke absolutely chickened out of a 50/50 when Conrad bounded across the pitch like a gazelle to slide the ball to safety yesterday.

He's like Kung-Fu Panda.

For those of us a bit long in the tooth always seem to remember Jimmy Thompson as a big lad,
but with one hell of a shot on him and a great left foot.

What about Terry Melling ,he was a big unit.
