Within a game riddled with corruption hes just one amongst many, agree totally about your post hes a decent manager and always seems very open in post match interviews etc too rather than the usual cliche crap
Big Sam on 10:09 - May 24 with 1277 views | midlandsdale | Dont disagree and his consistent record at smaller clubs is very impressive. Interesting to put him up against the likes of Moyes and Pardew who are more pc but less on results. He is seen by the establishment as being too brash and northern especially at the fashionista clubs and I was surprised to see him get the England job. Sadly for him and probably for all of us he messed that up. Palace was just a soul laundry for him to prove he could still do it and to make sure that the England fiasco wasn't the last thing he did or was remembered for. Even if he had won the league with Palace, his legacy will always be the England fiasco.

Agree with all of that, except for Pardew being seen as more PC. Pardew's potty mouth has caused him a fair bit of trouble, despite clubs spending ages trying to improve his media appearance.
