Ex-loanee Tommy Lee has signed for Chesterfield on a free transfer. More information online now.

Play-off legend Tommy Lee has been signed by Chesterfield on a one-year deal.

The loanee from Macclesfield Town became a Rochdale Hero last season when he saved Jason Kennedy’s penalty against Darlington in the semi-finals.

I said I'd add more to the article but it seems apart from the length of the contract, everything else has been uploaded onto Chesterfield World.

Either way Chesterfield manager Lee Richardson seemed happy with the deal telling their OS "Tommy is a good goalkeeper that has gained lots of experience over the last couple of seasons, including a Wembley appearance."

"He is a good character, mentally strong, very agile and has the chance to establish himself as Chesterfield's number one."
