A pre season friendly has been announced with Macclesfield Town announcing that they will be hosting Dale in July.

The game will kick off on Tuesday 23rd July with a 7:30pm kick off. It will be Dale's first visit to the Moss Rose since they've been relegated to the Conference and will also be George Donnelly's first return since joining Dale.

It is believed that the previously announced preseason friendliy with Northwich Victoria will no longer be taking place.
