Leeds to hijack Wolves bid for Crewe starlet?

Leeds are one of a host of clubs being linked with Crewe star Luke Murphy.

The 23-year-old is one of the latest graduates from the mid-Cheshire production line and Leeds are reportedly vying for the signature of a player who seemed set for Wolves.

Obviously he is pretty much unheard of in these parts but no doubt Brian McDermott's knowledge of players extends to Murphy.

Whether he is on his radar or not remains to be seen, but I do wish something would happen as surely this has been the most dull and inactive close-season in recent times?
