Dale's teenage midfielder Jamie Allen has been named as the best League Two player in March.

Allen beat off a short list that included Accrington's Tom Aldred, York's Michael Coulson and Northampton's Darren Carter to win this award.

It was a very good month for the 19 year old with two goals in the Month to take his season total to six goals in his first season in professional football.
