A new survey has announced that Dale fans are the longest suffering fans in football based on our history.

The survey has come about after a new cartoon TV show - Warren United, and their statisticians have analysed every result in history, trophies won, crowd sizes and any number of other factors and whilst stopping short of revealing which religion the Pope belongs to, they have announced that Dale fans are the most suffering, whilst fans of Manchester United as the least suffering.

The survey was followed up by a couple of articles from supporters of Arsenal and Leeds who tried to argue that their suffering was greater. With Dale sat in second place, and just a point from the top, they may just have a point.
