Legendary City kit man Lee Chapman has revealed how things have changed for the better since the arrival of Manuel Pellegrini to the Etihad. During Mancini's time at the helm he was said he did not have the strongest of relationships with his players.

In an exclusive interview with the Manchester Evening News Lee has spoke how Pellegrini has made the club 'a happier place'.

He said: “How do Mancini and Pellegrini differ? Well, he (Pellegrini) actually speaks, which is more than the previous one did.

“I would think next season they would do well again. I’d imagine they will sign a couple of world-class players and add to the world class squad. I can see success being a regular thing. I can see success going on and on.”

Chapman or Chappy as he is known to most at the club has recently retired from his job as kit man bit as been kept on by the club in a media role.
