Dale's management team of Keith Hill and Chris Beech have extended their contacts at the club and will remain in charge until the Summer of 2018.

Could we ask for a better Xmas present?

Both were contacted at the club for the next eighteen months, but in a suprise move, both have signed two year extensions to those deals which will keep them at Spotland until the end of the 2017-18 season.

Keith Hill recently became the longest serving manager in the club's history in terms of games managed, as he approaches the second anniversary of his return to the club, and there isn't even a question over whether he is the club's greatest ever manager or not.
