Dale have signed Tom Kennedy for the fourth time in his career as he pens a deal keeping him at Spotland until the end of the season.

With Keith Hill citing the need to protect the younger players after a couple of defensive wobbles in our last two games, it's perhaps not that surprising that Tom Kennedy has returned to the club. Since signing earlier in the season, he had loan spells at both Bury and Blackpool after losing his place at Dale to Scott Tanser.

First thoughts suggest that TK is the first player in the club's history to have had four different spells with the club.
