On the day of the annual released list, fresh deals have been offered to Stephen Dawson and Tom Kennedy.

It was widely expected that both would be offered new deals. Both are well liked by Keith Hill who signed both for Barnsley before bringing them back to Spotland.

Kennedy is currently in his fourth spell at the club and despite a sluggish start in a spell earlier in the season, he has impressed greatly in the second half of the season and with Hill citing experience as something needed for next season, it's no surprise that TK has been offered a deal to extend his fourth spell at Spotland.

Dawson finished the season injured but he did enough to be offered a new deal by Hill after some fine midfield performances this term. He has proved to be a popular signing.
