Refwatch: Dale v Chesterfield
Monday, 8th Aug 2016 07:00 by TVOS

Nigel Miller will referee his 18th match involving Rochdale when we host Chesterfield in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night

The experienced County Durham official was thought to be retiring from duty in each of the last four seasons, but he gained good enough marks and passed the fitness tests to allow him to still referee at EFL level.

We last saw Mr Miller in January for the 6-1 thrashing at Barnsley, while his last Spotland fixture was in April 2015 when Dale were beaten 4-2 by Swindon.
