Matty Lund will miss this weekend's game with Southend United as he has been called up to play for Northern Ireland.

Both games are part of Northern Ireland's World Cup qualifying group as they face San Marino on Saturday evening in Belfast, and a daunting trip to Germany on Tuesday in Hannover. This is the second call up in succession he has achieved, though he didn't make it on to the pitch to win his first cap last time.

Dale are already without a number of first team players for the Southend game, with Ian Henderson, Jim McNulty, Peter Vincenti and Jamie Allen already ruled out.
