Dale have been handed a tough draw in the 3rd Round of the Cup, with a visit to promotion chasing Conference side Barrow.

It's another trip to Cumbria and another trip to a side with a long unbeaten record as we take on Paul Cox's side who currently sit in 5th place in the National League.

In terms of history between the two sides, you have to go back to the 1960's for the last competitive game between the two sides but more recently Glenn Murray and Grant Holt have played for both sides, and former Dale defender Dave Bayliss was a recent Barrow manager.

The game will be played on the weekend of 7th / 8th January.
