Dale have finally got themselves a home tie after being drawn against Huddersfield Town in the 4th Round of the FA Cup.

Our reward for beating Barrow on Saturday is a local derby of sorts against Huddersfield Town. The game against the promotion seeking Championship side is likely to be on Saturday 28th January.

Fans with long memories will remember a couple of FA Cup games between the two sides around the late 80's / early 90's, both of which saw Huddersfield win at Spotland. The 4-3 replay defeat at Spotland in 1988 was something of a classic, despite the visitors coming out as victors.
