From Spotland to Poundland
Monday, 27th Feb 2017 17:48 by Col

Spotland will become Poundland on Tuesday evening, when matchday admission for all stands will be reduced to just £1.

As part of the recent efforts to increase the size of the fanbase, the club has dropped admission prices for Tuesday's clash with Port Vale to just a quid. This will apply in all areas of the ground.

You would assume that the club will only look to continue efforts like this if there is evidence that it works, so all supporters are urged to reach out and do their own bit to boost the crowd. Go through your contacts on your phone and send a message out to whoever could be persuaded to come along!

Common sense may be needed as you might be best taking changeand not trying to pay with a twenty quid note, and the turnstiles will probably be busier so get there a bit earlier than usual.

The offer is available as well to Port Vale and an increased following from them is expected to be in attendance as a result.
