TVOS: Dale v Coventry
Sunday, 16th Apr 2017 08:53

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme — The Voice of Spotland — is back for Monday’s League One fixture against Coventry City.

The programme is once again a 76-page issue containing plenty of reading to keep fans entertained and informed before, during and after the match.

We start with a lifestyle front cover image of striker Calvin Andrew, who is the subject of the programme’s Q&A feature in which he reveals a surprising fact about himself and the West End.

Scrutator looks at how the fortunes of a number of clubs have changed since Coventry won the FA Cup in 1987, while Row F columnist John Rowe discusses the issue of managers’ post-match interviews.

In ‘Colour Confusion’, Matt Smith recalls an evening match in which Dale had to play in a third all-red kit and Kuwait-based fan Dylan Peacock gives his views on the Checkatrade Trophy.

In ‘Through The Years’, we remind fans about an afternoon when Dale’s place in the Football League appeared to be slipping from their grasp, but ‘On This Day’ remembers happier times and an afternoon fans had waited 36 years to savour.

Our regular Dale Quiz will tax your brain away from the action and Travellers’ Tales reports on the trip to MK Dons.

Action photos appear from the games against MK Dons, Scunthorpe and Gillingham, while we have comprehensive previews of upcoming home and away matches.

Visitors Coventry City get nine pages of coverage, which includes five thoughts that pop into our minds whenever Dale take on The Sky Blues.

All this and much, much more will be in Monday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
