Peter Vincenti has left Dale by mutual consent and has signed for League 2 newcomers Coventry City.

The former Aldershot man has proved himself to be a popular player both on and off the field during his time at Dale, chalking up over a hundred and fifty appearances for the club during his four year stint at Spotland.

However, despite signing a new two year deal during the Summer of 2016, he was restricted to just three league starts last season, and whilst an injury picked up on the final day of 2015-16 played a part in that, it certainly appeared that his role at the club had become as a squad player.

It goes without saying that Vincenti departs Spotland with the best wishes of everyone.
