Sneak preview of Oldham programme

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Tuesday’s League One game against Oldham Athletic.

The programme has been increased to 76 pages this season, but with the same number of advert pages as last year, meaning there is even more to keep you entertained before, during and after the match.

We start with a front cover image of forward Chris O’Grady, who has become such a cult figure at Spotland since joining us from Oldham last year.

As usual, there are the serious and not-so-serious articles, together with the usual high quality pictures from the Exeter and Yeovil games by photographer Daniel Youngs.

Keith Hill gives his thoughts on the game at Leyton Orient and the upcoming FA Cup tie, while Programme Vault goes back to the early-1970s.

A new style Dale Quiz has been compiled to test the grey matter, while Scrutator is back with his views on how attendances have often fluctuated for derby matches.

Traveller’s Tales reports on the trip to Exeter, while there are in-depth previews of forthcoming home and away fixtures.

Of course, there are many new features, including The Day I Was Born, where we look back at what was happening on the day one particular Dale player came into the world.

Visitors Oldham get nine pages of coverage, with My First Time reflecting on a late-season Premier League fixture at Boundary Park.

All this and much, much more will be in Tuesday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
