Danny Fox Called Up For Scotland

Danny Fox has been called into the Scotland sqiuad for their upcoming friendly with Australia at Easter Road home of Hibernian.


Danny Fox will join a selct band of players who have been capped by Scotland whilst playing for Saints if he gets on to the pitch for the Scots.

Although born in Winsford Cheshire and making one appearance for England U21 team back in 2008, he declared his availability for Scotland due to his Grandfather being born North of the border and earned his only full cap for the Tartan Army for their friendly against Japan in 2009.

Now he is back in the squad his cause helped by Saints promotion, with Scotland boss Craig Levein publicly expressing the view that players should be playing top flight football in order to be able to step seamlessly into the International arena on more than one opccasion.
