Hey why no comments from those tools down the road ? Can't hold a lead at home against us again, good game to watch and a fine example of why this fixture should remain for many years to come, may have to be cup games for a bit though ;-)

Saints effectively playing with 10 men till Guly went off, midfield lacking again today. I am sure the pundits will say a draw was a fair result but that was the most important game at St Mary's since Manchester United sent us down and we blew it.

umm Pompeypride as this is a forum for Saints fans, technically the 'tools' down the road are Pompey! This site is inhabited by the more enlightened fans and we enjoy banter and not merely throwing insults. An opposition fan's perspective is always more than welcome!
You are correct a great game to watch, there would not be many teams who could hold a lead against 2 fantastic goals like that. It seems you saved your best 2 moments of the season for us, how kind!

Grampy yes I agree Guly was not at his best yesterday, but neither was Ricky, I noticed him bitching at a lot of his team mates yesterday, he wasn't enjoying himself. Glad he finally took a free kick that almost went in.
Gutted that Morgan went off so early, as I like the way he now controls the midfield, but thought Jack Cork raised his game and put in a decent show, Adam was back to his best, Deano was ever reliable. Jose and Jos coped very well. I now see why we paid 31.8m for Billy he's not pretty but oh so effective. I would love to see Fox and Razor push in a few more yards to the byeline before they cross.
I was proud of the whole team, they played against a team who were going to fight all the way, play with pride and make it very very difficult for us.

I am going to miss games like this, they don't happen very often, the atmosphere was buzzing, and for a Derby some great football, mostly by Saints. It's a shame that there is a small hooligan element that would spoil it.
But as NA pointed out, yesterday we gained a point that took us top of the league!
