FA Cup Pink Ball 14:55 - Dec 8 with 1724 viewsHeisenberg

The bods at the FA have decided that all the cup games this year will be played with a pink ball. Nothing wrong with that I hear you say. One small detail. You can't feckin see the thing. Pink as a neutral colour was used to camouflage planes during WW2. It was known as Mountbatten Pink.

Mountbatten Pink was used on ships, not planes. Mountbatten being the Admiral of the Fleet being the clue.

And it is more a greyish mauve than a pink.

A bright pink ball will be very visible.

Standby to standby

Makes sense
Pompey wore pink and they've all but disappeared

The older I get the better I was
