Mick Channon At Waterstones For All The Saints Book Signing
Friday, 29th Nov 2013 10:16

UnArguably in the top five of Saints greatest players, Mick Channon will be in Waterstones in Above Bar next week to answer questions and sign copies of "All The Saints" Details here as well as other Ex Saints appearances.

The 532-page full-colour publication hits the shelves today (Friday 29th) and is available, at £35, from nine Waterstone’s branches in the area, or online at hagiologists.com, but not from the Club's megastores.

The launch event is now sold out, but the following signing sessions by Saints legends have been confirmed:

Thursday, December 5: Swan Centre, Eastleigh (midday) — Matt Le Tissier signing.

Thursday December 5: Waterstone’s, Above Bar, Southampton (7pm) — An Evening with Mick Channon.

Friday December 6: Waterstone’s, Newport, Isle of Wight (midday) — signing by 1976 FA Cup winners Jim Steele and Hugh Fisher, joined by 1984 semi-finalist Mark Dennis.

Friday December 6: Waterstone’s, The Brooks, Winchester (4.30 pm) — signing by 1976 FA Cup-winners Nick Holmes and Hugh Fisher.

Friday December 13: Waterstone’s, West Quay, Southampton (11am) — Matt Le Tissier signing.

Details of further signings in nearby Waterstone’s branches by members of the 1976 FA Cup-winning side are expected soon. Watch this space for updated details.

For once Nick I cannot argue with you.
Remember being devastated when he signed for Man City and elated when he returned.
Everybody wanted to be Mike Channon number 8 of Saints and England.
Truth be told probably a better player than MLT and Terry Paine.

Certainly one of the few players who can be mentioned in the same breath of them

Channon was always my dads fave player for Saints, I was probably a little too young to appreciate him then and grew up in the Le Tiss years, but he is certainly a legend, no doubt
