Pictures released from Saints this morning show both Dejan Lovren and Gaston Ramirez back in training with the squad.

Its the news that all Saints fans wanted to hear, that Dejan Lovren and Gaston Ramirez have been able to rejoin the squad for light training, its still unclear when they will be ready for competitive action but the fact they are able to train is a great sign that they are on the way back to fitness less than 3 weeks since they both got injured within a minute of each other up at Sunderland.

back then it looked like a critical situation that would stretch the squad to its limits, but it has had its plus points in that it has gelled the squad together along with the other adversity's that January brought and their loss has not so far been felt as much as would normally be expected.

Lovren especially though is a key player and was a contender for the player of the year up until his injury.

Good to see them back and hopefully it wont be too long before they can both be in contention for a place in the team.
